Guest house BASKE

One of the most impressive guest houses forming the building complex in Italian new renaissance style is the guest house Baske. Technical and sensitive reconstruction and later enlargement of accommodation capacities have contributed to its higher standard. Therefore the guest house Baske has been receiving the highest awards in the category “Guest house of the year in Slovakia” for the whole time of its existence.

Comfortable, cosy, protecting the privacy of Slovak and foreign guests with decent behaviour of the staff, these are the characteristics of the guest house, situated just a few steps from the spa buildings. Everything is in the vicinity - curative treatments, relax, culture, trekking, sports and entertainment. The guest house Baske is named after the highest peak Baske (955 meters above sea level), rising above the picturesque valley of the stream Teplička and above the spa town of Trenčianske Teplice. The guest house is situated in the spa park of the town.

Curative Spa

The whole town of Trenčianske Teplice was bought by the baron Juraj Sina in the 19th century. The baron was taking care of its development. Besides traditional spa architecture, the Sina house built in Arabic Moorish style stands out. The style of the building is unique in Slovakia. Nowadays the diseases of locomotive apparatus, inflammatory and rheumatic diseases as well as work related diseases and psoriasis are cured in the Teplice spa.
